The items with the ** are optional items. I purchased Benadryl each appointment to prevent any vaccine reactions. Similarly, the third appointment the puppy had an ear infection, which added on $67.48 worth of medications. The fourth appointment would probably be less expensive if you didn’t have the plan, because you wouldn’t get a complete workup (heartworm test, etc). I also added on ear hair removal and a pedicure to the appointment.
